Day 13 & 14

July 28 & 29th

Two day post in one. Both days were pretty much the same. Jason went to work early Monday morning & and even earlier on Tuesday, like 5:15 a.m. for a board meeting. The kids and I spent time doing summer school work in the morning, then the pool in the afternoon. 

Monday night we dined at the picnic table and Tuesday night we went to  Firestone Walker Barrelworks & Taproom (right by Jason's office) for dinner. Yep, to answer your question I know you are already thinking, relatives of the Akron Firestones, and the once Bachelor Andrew. They have a big estate here, used to have two wineries and now Firestone walker Brewery. Always good food and beer. Drove around a bit after dinner and got ice cream for the kiddos. 

The boy taught himself to snokel, with a float belt. He is so cautious and has no interest swimming without a float. 

I was up all Sunday night with Saylor. And she was sick all day Monday. In the afternoon we got her a appointment with the local vet that came highly recommended. He said it was unlikely she is sick due to water at the campgrounds because they are all municipal water sources. She has a virus. Jason also mentioned how she was falling over on Thursday & we've seen her walk oddly on her toes, like her feet were bent under. The doctor suspected a spinal compression or maybe a tumor on her spine causing the problem due to the fact she has another mass cell tumor. This could be causing her sickness too. 

He loaded her up with some meds, saying about 48 hours before we see her start feeling better. Also an anti-inflammatory to help relieve some of the stress of her legs. It's been extremely upsetting to see her so ill.
