Saturday morning we spent doing normal household things. Jason needed to repair a few things, I started laundry, went to Albertson 's the local grocery, kids were wild on the scooters. Once we got things organized, packed lunch, stopped at the office to pick up a few beach items we had stored there from previous visits, we headed to the beach. Decided to drive about 30 minutes South to Santa Barbara. It was 2 pm, the sun was out, but it was a little breezy at 73 degrees. Kids didn't care at all, it was Mama who was freezing when the sun went behind a cloud.
The Pacific Ocean was cold too. In Buellton where we are staying, it's between mountains, cool in the morning and evening, hot, dry and 95 degrees during the day. But on the beach, it's not always real warm in the Central Coast.

We built a camp fire that night, made dinner and s'mores! Pretty good day. Can't wait to go again next week.
