RV, Motorhome, Coach, Bus?

Jason and I have enjoy taking vacations and traveling together since before we were married and even more now that we have Lily & Charlie.  Lily was 8 weeks old on her first plane ride to Naples, Florida. We've been to Florida every year except one since Lily was born, all over the South, California a handful of times, Texas, the Carolina's, Chicago, and more. We owned a houseboat for the last four summers & fixed that up in between fun. We enjoyed the water, and the little cabin we had. At the end of last summer we sold it thinking of what would be next.  As our vacations always come to an end we are always thinking about what we'd like to do and try in the years to come.  We've often talked about renting an RV. So in the Spring we were discussing a trip to California and going while Jason works, like in the past. We we generously offered the opportunity to use a motorhome from a very good friend (owner if Jason's company). How could we say no to that offer!
A few weeks ago we took a trip south to visit the Tilton's & pick up the RV. We quickly have learned that it has many names, RV, Motorhome, Bus, and Coach.  Jason had seen it before on a previous visit but I had not. It's huge! The thing is literally built like a city bus.

Here we are Sunday morning as we depart Georgia and head North to Ohio. We had a little trouble getting home, but Jason handled it well and drove the entire distance. We have given the RV a tune up, and stocked it full of our things. I was given a driving lesson on it & didn't do half bad. We are ready for a great adventure acrossing this beautiful country of the United States of America.    Many of you have asked about where we will be and our experience along the way.   Follow along with us on our trip!
