Other than going to work every day, we do not have a lot going this week. Tuesday, the kids and I met Jason and some of the office staff at our favorite Taco Roco for Taco Tuesday lunch. Can't beat homemade crispy tacos for $0.99. The kids and I went into the neighboring tourist town of Solvang to walk around a bit. Best bakeries ever!
On Thursday, Lily went to work with Jason. She helped assemble about 250 little kits to go with parts. She earned herself a Tilton hat. While Lily went to work, I took Charlie into Solvang for brunch. I swear that boy is finally growing and ate an adult size meal!
Last night, we had dinner at one of favorite Italian restaurants in Santa Ynez Valley, Trattoria Grappolo. Delish homemade gnocchi, spaghetti, and wood fire roasted chicken & veggies. It's in a little old West town along the historic stage coach route.
Today is Friday the 29th. After work we are headed North three hours to Monterey Bay/Salinas. We left the RV at the campground and are staying with our friends Allen & Judi. We our plan is to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium tomorrow. We were there pre-children. Very excited to see it again, one of the best in the world, not to mention Finding Dory is based off that location.
Weather note: it's been 88 during the day in Buellton, 60 at night.
