As we have reached our destination for the next two weeks, Jason went to work at 7 a.m. Monday morning. Poor guy! The kids and I did some laundry, played at the campground playground, worked on summer school and headed to the pool after lunch on Monday. That night we had dinner at Firestone Walker Brewery down the street from the office. Yes, same Firestone family from Akron, and Andrew Firestone who was on the Bachelor ages ago.
Our main reason for being in Buellton right now is Jason and work. Tilton Engineering is building a brand new headquarters on their current property. They tore down an existing building not being used. We have been able to watch the progress the last few months because they hung a GOPRO camera up on the building and post videos. Being able to see it in person was awesome. All departments will be under one roof, unlike now where they are spread among multiple buildings. It's a really cool, farm barn type design.
We are
We are so very proud of Jason and all that is being accomplished at Tilton. Over 40 years in the racing industry and Jason has worked there for 19 years. Jason and I will fly back out in October for a Grand Opening/Employee Apprciation day.
