2016: Days 15, 16 & 17

We are leaving Flying Flags and Buellton Saturday.  Laundry is a must before head out and therefore was my Wednesday morning chore. I made the hike to the laundry back and forth several times but it was good to get some exercise as well.  The kids are at the point where I can leave them for 15 minutes while I walked to switch the laundry or fold it. After two days at the beach, the kids choose the pool that afternoon. We only stayed an hour when Lily's poor mouth and Mara Dolphin appliance was hurting her.  It's really torn her mouth up adjusting to it. We spent the evening with work friends Carrie & Kirk at a new tasting & tapas room in Buellton called Terrevant. I wish I would have taken a picture. All the wine bottles were in dispensers and you could insert your table's card for a taste, half a glass or a full glass.

Another day another beach.....Thursday was spent at Refugio State Beach, just 3 miles North of El Capitan. These two beaches have been busy because they both have campgrounds right next to the beach. We found a great spot and they were running for the water!

We walked to the far end of the beach were all the surfers were.

Day 17: Lily went to work with dad again this morning while Charlie and I went to the grocery store. We are packing up camp today. Jason has had a very productive two weeks at the office. The building is coming along nicely and oft was amazing to see the progress in two weeks. Check out the new sign.

And the beautiful polished concrete in the machine shop.  The wood on the walls will be painted a dark gray. It's wood so that shelving and tools can be attached. The entire office will also have polished concrete floors and floor to ceiling glass offices. Office walls were being painted today.

One more afternoon swim/snorkel in the pool before we go. Flying Flags was getting packed with weekend visitors!
