Today we are thankful for a shorter drive. We were in the road by 6:45 a.m. Leaving Washington, we drove through Idaho and into Montana about 315 miles. Gorgeous pine and lots of rivers as we were going through Idaho.
We arrived at
Polson Motorcoach & RV Resortright around 3 p.m. This is a premier motorcoach place. When we made the reservation, they told us all coaches have to be less than 10 years old and all Class A! It is super nice, paved, w shave an outdoor kitchen, patio covered with a pergola and table & chairs. The Resort overlooks Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains. Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake West of the Mississippi. It's 300 feet deep, and something like 27 miles long by 15 miles wide and crystal clear.
We had a couple cocktails, took several walks, had a good dinner and relaxed! Tomorrow we are headed into Glacier National Park about 90 minutes North.
