2017: Hilton Head Island

School let out at 12:30 on Friday, June 2nd, and we had the motorhome all ready to head South.  

We were in need of a beach trip and wanted to try something new as a family.  I had been to Hilton Head Island about 14 years ago, but we have not been there as a family.  Our good friends, the Taylor's recommended the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort.  They joined us the next day for a week and showed us the island.  Our own personal tour guides. 

Such a nice resort. 

 Beautiful site, but it had recently lost a lot of  trees due the hurrican last year. 

We ate  so much good frood, had a great time at the beach almost every day.  Even Llewsie spent some time at the beach in the mornings. 

 We did an exursion at low tide one day to the Vanishing Island Island Explorer.   We rode through Broad Creek.   At low tide, we got out of the boat and found live starfish, sand dollars, crabs, and so much more.  

 On our way back, we were able to see a mama dolphin and her new baby.  Then these three cuties came up to us and watched attention.

We had some really great days at the beach, playing, relaxing, and boogie boarding!
