Hello 2017!
We are excited to start another season of traveling. Lily and Charlie still have a few more days of school, so we spent the holiday weekend at Catawba Island. We stayed at Cedarlane RV Park. It was mostly seasonal campers with just a few transit spots open. The park had a nice family pool, splash zone, adult and baby pool. Very nice playground, volleyball, basketball, so much to do.
On Saturday, we met up with our friends the Gierharts, who have a place in Marblehead. We took the Kelleys' Island ferry over the to the island to play for the day. First stop was renting golf carts.
We drove around the island to see the glacier grovers. Pretty cool.
Loved spending some quality time with Lindsay and her family. Tristen & Carter attend a different school so the kids enjoyed hanging out. We also checked out the state park on the island and hopefully we will attempt to takethe motorhome across in the future.
We had lunch on the island and hit the ferry home.
Charlie enjoyed Sunday morning playing at the pool and in the splash zone at the campground. Lily and Jason saw our Leach friends for a morning of fishing.
