On Monday, July 27th, we left Key Largo to drive North to Cape Canaveral. We set up camp at Jetty Park. Jetty Park is right at the tip of the port where all the cruise ships come in. We hit the beach by 2 pm. Lily and Charlie were thrilled to see this wide open beach on the Atlantic side after the Keys not having any true beaches.

It was much cooler in this part of Florida. Just 80 degrees instead of 98! lol!
After we got cleaned up, we went to Cocca Beach just 10 minutes away and had dinner on the pier. The next morning, we made a short drive to Kennedy Space Center. Somehow, for the first time ever, I accidently deleted all the photos from this day that were on my NIKON. YIKES. Thank goodness for the iphone!
What a great campus. Even better is that they had air conditioned kennels for the puppy to stay in while we were on our tour.

The tour was great, we got to go all the way out to the launch pad, saw Atlantis and Apollo V; journey to Mars;
I can totally see Charlie working for NASA with all his mechnical capabilities.
After this fun day, we traveled North to Brunswick again. Returned the motorhome to the Tiltons, spent the night and headed back to Canton.

Brunswick, GA to Canton, Ohio: 777 miles
